Nitrile Gloves (Nitrile Hand Gloves) for regulated industries.

PharmShield nitrile gloves are engineered for regulated B2B environments — pharmaceutical, food-processing, electronics and automotive facilities — not generic consumer use. Every glove is powder-free, double-chlorinated, manufactured to AQL 0.65, and available non-sterile, ETO- or gamma-sterile, and in nitrosamine-controlled and ESD-dissipative grades. If you’re sourcing to a spec or standard — EN 374, ASTM D6319, ISO 13485 — start here.

Specialty Grade

What makes a nitrile glove “specialty grade”.

The difference between a commodity disposable and a glove your QA team can sign off on — measured, documented, and audit-ready.

01Quality

AQL 0.65 — Pharmaceutical Grade

Commodity nitrile gloves are typically made to AQL 1.5 or 2.5. Every PharmShield nitrile glove is manufactured to AQL 0.65 with 100% individual inspection — the defect tolerance regulated facilities audit against.

02Process

Advanced Double-Chlorination

A double-chlorinated, powder-free internal surface for smooth donning and double-donning — no powder, no donning agents that migrate onto product or into cleanroom air.

03Documentation

Batch Traceability & Audit-Ready Docs

Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis, lot identification and compliance documentation — so your QA team can trace any glove back through the production record.

04Cleanliness

Low Particulate, Low Extractables

Powder-free blue nitrile gloves engineered for low particulate and low ionic extractables — with cleanroom nitrile gloves in the Pro range processed and packed for ISO-classified environments.

The Range

Eight nitrile configurations, one quality standard.

From the dispenser-box workhorse to triple-vacuum cleanroom and ESD-dissipative grades — every nitrile examination glove in the range is powder-free, AQL 0.65 and batch-traceable.

Non-Sterile

Non-sterile nitrile dispenser box & individually packed.

Disposable nitrile gloves for production floors, labs and food processing — in high-throughput dispenser boxes or individually packed for controlled handling.

Sterile · SAL 10⁻⁶

Sterile nitrile gloves ETO & gamma irradiated.

Sterile nitrile gloves validated to SAL 10⁻⁶ and individually packed under controlled conditions — choose ETO or gamma (STERILE R) sterilization to match your facility's validation requirements.

PharmShield Pro

PharmShield Pro vacuum-packed, nitrosamine-controlled & anti-static.

Cleanroom nitrile gloves for critical environments — vacuum and triple-vacuum packed for particulate control, nitrosamine-controlled formulations for sensitive aseptic operations, and ESD-dissipative anti-static grades for electronics lines.

Material Selection

Nitrile vs latex — which for your facility?

Choose nitrile when you need latex-free gloves for allergy-sensitive teams, stronger chemical splash resistance (EN 374), or higher puncture resistance on the line. Choose natural rubber latex when elasticity and tactile fit matter most. Both are available across the same sterility and packaging configurations — so the material decision never compromises the quality standard.

Common Questions

Nitrile gloves — FAQ

Straight answers on material, thickness, safety and food-contact use.

Nitrile gloves are disposable gloves made from synthetic nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) — a latex-free material with excellent puncture resistance, chemical splash resistance and tactile sensitivity. PharmShield nitrile gloves are manufactured to AQL 0.65 in powder-free, sterile and non-sterile configurations for regulated industries.

Yes. Nitrile is a fully synthetic material, so nitrile gloves contain no natural rubber latex proteins and eliminate the risk of Type I latex allergy. That makes them the standard choice for latex-free gloves in facilities with allergy-sensitive staff or latex-controlled processes.

PharmShield nitrile gloves meet ASTM D6319 with a tensile strength of ≥14 MPa, in lengths from 12" (300mm) to 18" (450mm) as standard — with 240mm to 600mm available on request. Exact palm and fingertip thickness per configuration is listed on each product's datasheet.

Standard nitrile gloves can contain trace nitrosamines formed during vulcanisation, and some studies have flagged these compounds as a long-term concern — so the honest answer is that residue levels matter. For sensitive aseptic operations, PharmShield Pro Nitrosamine-Controlled gloves use a low-nitrosatable formulation aligned with FDA, EMA and ICH M7 nitrosamine guidance. See the nitrosamine-controlled range →

Yes. PharmShield nitrile gloves are food-contact compliant under US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, making them suitable for food processing and packaging environments. Powder-free construction also avoids powder transfer onto food-contact surfaces. Nitrile for food processing →
